The AI you need is already installed
Gmail, Microsoft 365 and Canva shipped real AI into the menus you already use. Five minutes with the tools you already pay for beats a new subscription.

Most owners think adopting AI means picking a new platform, learning a new interface and paying a new bill. That is the part that keeps it on the someday list.
It is not usually true. The tools you already pay for shipped AI straight into the menus you already use.
Where it is hiding
- Gmail’s entry-level Google Workspace plan already includes Gemini’s Help me write, Proofread, Suggested replies and Summarize, inside the compose box, with no separate AI subscription.
- Since July 2026, Microsoft 365 Business Standard and Business Premium with Copilot ship with AI built directly into Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, not a separate chatbot to log into.
- Canva’s Magic Write and Magic Design sit inside the design tool your team already opens. Canva passed 265 million monthly users in 2025, and its built-in AI mini-apps alone have more than 10 million monthly users.
People who actually use the AI in their everyday tools report saving one to two hours in their workday, according to a HubSpot survey of more than 1,000 marketing professionals.
Five minutes, three tabs
- Open Gmail, start a reply, and look for Help me write.
- Open Excel or Word and ask Copilot to build the table or draft the letter.
- Open Canva and try Magic Write on your next post.
You do not need new software. You need five minutes with the tools you already have open, and a rule for what the team may and may not paste into them.
Where this fits
Finding what is already sitting unused in your stack is the first thing the free audit does. Turning it into a habit across the team, with the right privacy settings and a playbook per role, is AI in the Team.
